THE ESTATE
Alt Camp is heir to a wise agricultural and farming culture, deeply rooted in the territory, which still maintains its prominence in the landscapes of crops and dry-stone walls. This living tradition is reflected in every detail of our work and in the way we relate to the land.
We work on six estates located around Valls, for a total of eighteen hectares We cultivate responsibly and agroecologically, applying biodynamic criteria to both the vineyards and the plots of olive, almond, hazelnut, carob, and cereal trees. We believe in respectful agriculture that preserves soil fertility and promotes biodiversity. For us, farming is not just a profession, but a way of life. It is a deep connection with the land and its cycles, a way of understanding the world that goes beyond agricultural production. It is also a firm commitment to the environment, natural diversity, and the continuity of a family legacy that we love and uphold.
With this philosophy, we recover traditional varieties, promote the balance between nature and human activity, and live the land with respect and passion, because only then can we guarantee a sustainable future for the next generations.
BIODYNAMIC AND REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE
We are part of Terradinàmica, the association of Biodynamic Producers of Catalonia.We are committed to an agricultural production model that respects natural cycles and promotes biodiversity. Through biodynamic and regenerative agriculture, we not only contribute to soil health but also favour the balance of the ecosystem and minimize environmental impact. This philosophy reinforces our commitment to a more sustainable future, as well as more responsible and conscious consumption.
We are inspired by the principles established by Rudolf Steiner in 1924, who proposed agriculture in harmony with nature. On our estate, we work taking into account not only plants and animals but also the fundamental elements –earth, water, air, and fire– and the influence of the planets around us. Every day, with passion and dedication, we discover new aspects and secrets that nature offers us, deepening a respectful and integrated relationship with our environment.
